Welcome Our New Pastor
Pastor Lee Johnson and wife Wendy
Lee was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas where he attended school at Hudson ISD. After school, Lee joined the United States Navy and traveled the world in the service of his country.
He met his wife Wendy in Virginia Beach, Virginia and married in 2007. They are happily married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Since Lee’s retirement from the Navy in 2012, he has owned and operated his own real estate inspection company, Anchor Home Inspections.
During Lee’s final years in the Navy he felt God’s call to ministry, and in 2017 he returned to college to acquire his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent University, where he graduated in May 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was active in his previous church home of Harmony Hill Baptist Church participating in the welcome team and disaster relief team.
While waiting on God’s call to pastor, Lee has been working with the Unity Baptist Association’s pulpit relief team and has filled in for many local churches, he has also attended the UBA School of Ministry for Pastors, and Youth Pastors. His desire is to fulfill God’s call and serve His church everyday, spreading the Gospel message and shepherding those around him.
