Jesus is the head of our Church, and we are the body. We are to follow his example to "seek and save" --that is our mission. And we strive to accomplish this by the will of God through our values.
Prayer must be central in our lives, families and ministries. We cannot live a life worthy of the gospel without God's supernatural help. Prayer is the means by which we receive His supernatural help. God's grace distinguishes Christians from the world in a Christ-exalting way. And God has ordained that this grace flows to us through prayer.
Discipleship is using God's Word to model and teach Christians the precepts of the Bible—mainly prayer, doctrine, Christian living, and worship. Jesus commanded, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," Matthew 28:19. The role of the Holy Spirit is to bring people into an intimate relationship with God. His call, above all else for us as Christians, in our personal lives and in our churches is Discipleship.
We are passionate about serving our community and helping others. Outreach is an important value we share at Beacon Bay Baptist.
Giving thanks to God for His work in our lives is a core value of Beacon Bay Baptist. And we express our reverence and adoration for God through fellowship, music, and worship.
